Uni-station configuration manager

This section describes how to use the Uni-station Settings Manager.

Startup/pairing screen

  • Top left pull-down menu: Select COM port.

  • Connect button: Connect to Uni-station. Uni-studio must be closed.

  • Disconnect button: Save the pairing information to the Uni-station and disconnect.

  • Pairing: Pair with Uni-sensor.Normally, it is already paired, so you do not need to perform this item.

  • Refresh sensor list: Get a list of currently recognizable/recognized sensors on the Uni-station.

  • Delete Selected Sensor: Deletes the selected sensor's information from the Uni-station.

  • Delete All Sensors: Deletes all sensor information from the Uni-station.

  • Restart sensor: Reboot the Uni-sensor and back to tracking mode.

  • Enter Sensors in Config Mode: Puts the sensor in config mode.

  • Power off sensors: Power off the sensor.

  • Enable Move button: Moves the number of the selected sensor.

・How to deal with sensor replacement

1. Connect to Uni-station and press "Refresh sensor list".

2. Select the sensor to be replaced and press "Delete Selected Sensor".

3. With the replacement sensor powered on, press and hold the power button for at least 5 seconds to enter config mode. (Sensors other than replacement are turned off)

4.Press the "Pairing" button, and if the part to be replaced is no longer "0 0 0 0 0 0", pairing is complete.

About the pairing method, please refer to the pairing.

advanced settings

  • Set channel:

Change the radio channel. Usually no need to change.

  • Set Signal strength:

Change the wireless signal strength. It should be changed when the connection is unstable. The higher the number, the stronger the radio wave strength, but the battery consumption will increase slightly and the accuracy of magnetic correction may decrease.

  • Set Operation mode:

Change the data transmission frequency of Uni-sensor. The higher the number, the smoother the operation, but the more battery consumption.

60Hz Low Power Mode: Mode for intermittent radio transmission. It saves power, but the response decreases.

70Hz High Power Mode: This mode operates with high response.

144Hz High Power Mode: The mode with the highest refresh rate. On the other hand, the response will drop slightly due to the increase in processing.

  • Set Auto off time:

This is the time from when the Uni-station is disconnected until the power of the Uni-sensor is turned off. Usually no need to change.

  • Erasing calibration information:

A button to erase the calibration information when the Uni-sensor's magnetic calibration data is severely damaged. Normally you don't need to run it.

  • Factory reset:

Clear all memory of Uni-sensor. Since the pairing information is also erased, it is necessary to perform pairing again. Normally you don't need to run it.

  • Set Magnetic mode

Enabled: Magnetic correction is turned on.

Disabled: Magnetic correction is turned off.

Confirm settings

Uni-sensor settings can be checked in Uni-studio V1.1.2 (Beta) version or later.

You can check by selecting "Uni-sensor" from the Uni-studio setting list.

(To update the settings, Uni-sensor must be restarted while Uni-station and Uni-studio are connected.)
