How to manually update Uni-sensor v1.2.1
Welcome to the Uni-studio Update Guide! Let's update Uni-motion to the latest version in 5 steps!
1. Update Uni-studio

*When updating from Uni-studio v.1.2.0, it is not necessary to perform step 2 onwards.
*If you are using Uni-motion for the first time or updating from Uni-studio v.1.1.2 or earlier, please complete all steps.
1. Update Uni-studio
⑴ Download the latest version of Uni-studio. download page
⑵ Start the downloaded setup file and follow the instructions on the screen to proceed with the installation.
*When the latest version of Uni-studio is installed, the previous version of Uni-studio will be automatically deleted.
③ When the installation is complete, Uni-studio will start automatically.
④ Click the gear icon to open the setting menu and confirm that the version is "1.2.1".
⑤ This completes the Uni-studio update!
*When updating from Uni-studio v.1.2.0, it is not necessary to perform step 2 onwards.
*If you are using Uni-motion for the first time or updating from Uni-studio v.1.1.2 or earlier, please complete all steps.
2. Update Uni-station
① Connect the PC and Uni-station with a USB cable.
② Launch the latest version of Uni-studio and click the "Connect" button on the upper right of the screen.
③ After confirming that the sensor is displayed, click "Setting Manager" at the bottom right of the screen to open it.
*The image shows the display when 8 sensors are connected.
④ Select the "Firmware Update" tab on the Settings Manager and click "Update Uni-station".
⑤ Click "OK" on the confirmation screen, and click "OK" again on the completion screen.
⑥ This completes the Uni-station update!
3. Update Uni-sensor
*Be sure to update Uni-station before updating Uni-sensor.
* Uni-sensors need to be updated one by one. Multiple Uni-sensors cannot be updated at the same time
① In Uni-studio, make sure that all Uni-sensors are powered off.
*The image shows the power of the Uni-sensor turned off.
② Click “Setting Manager” to open it.
③ Select the "Firmware Update" tab on the Settings Manager and click "Update Uni-sensor".
④ Turn on the power of the Uni-sensor to be updated.
When the LED of the Uni-sensor turns on, place it within 5cm from the Uni-station.
*Never turn off the Uni-sensor during the update. Also, never move the Uni-sensor away from the Uni-station.The internal data of Uni-sensor may be damaged and become unrepairable.
⑤ Return to Uni-studio and click “Start Update”.
⑥ The update will take about 20 seconds. The Uni-sensor's LED will blink when the update is complete. Turn off the power of the Uni-sensor after confirming that the LED is blinking.
* The LED flashes like this.
⑧ You have now updated one Uni-sensor! For the remaining Uni-sensors, repeat the operations from ④ to ⑥ to update.
⑨ After the update is completed, click the gear icon to open the setting menu, and click "Uni-sensor" on the setting menu.
⑩ Press "Update information (restart)" while all Uni-sensors are powered on.
⑪ Confirm that the version of all Uni-sensors is "1.3.0".
⑫ This completes the Uni-sensor update!
*If malfunction occurs after updating the Uni-sensor, please refer to Q&A "Some Uni-sensors do not function properly after updating the Uni-sensor firmware."
4. Recalibrate the Uni-sensor
① Turn off the power of all Uni-sensors and then start Uni-studio.
② Click “Enable” in “Magnetic Correction” to check it.
5. Update complete!
Once all Uni-sensors have been calibrated, the update is complete!
