Uni-Motion User Guide has been moved to this page.
Uni-studio Manual
*When changing Uni-studio settings, be sure to turn on the power of all Un-Sensors. If the Uni-sensor is powered off, the setting changes will not be reflected.
Here, we will explain how to use Uni-studio.
General Settings
You can change various screen settings.
Operation mode
You can set the mounting position of the Uni-sensor. Please change the settings on this screen when switching between VR full body mode and upper body mode. Please refer to the Use with VR chat, Use in upper body mode.
Trackers
You can change the settings for sending tracker information. Please change the settings on this screen when switching between VR full body mode and upper body mode. Please refer to the Use with VR chat, Use in upper body mode.
Calibration
You can change the calibration method.
Overlay calibration allows you to calibrate within VR applications such as VR Chat without opening Uni-studio.
Correction Functions
Various correction functions can be set.
Limiting Joint Angle
This is a new function added in v.1.2.0.
Prevents joints from bending beyond their range of motion.
The default values are set so that the joints have a natural range of motion.
Decrease the value if you want to narrow the range of motion of the joint, and increase the value if you want to widen the range of motion.
Auto-Correct
This is a new function added in v.1.2.0.
Based on the movement of the sensor, the orientation of the sensor is automatically corrected.
The default value is set to correct at natural speed.
Increase the value for faster automatic correction, and decrease the value for slower automatic correction.
Uni-sensor
You can check the information of the connected Uni-sensor.
You can also perform magnetic calibration of Uni-sensor from this screen.
See the setup guide for details on magnetic calibration.
Change of magnetic correction range
This is a new function added in v.1.2.0.
When the influence of geomagnetism on the Uni-sensor is large, you can increase the tracking accuracy by increasing the magnetic correction.
Confirmation of geomagnetism
The default correction width has a minimum value of "0" and a maximum value of "85". The appropriate value is the value of geomagnetism [uT] plus about 10 to 20.
If the value of geomagnetism does not fall within the range of 30 to 60 even though there are no magnets around,
You need to do the magnetic calibration again.
Change correction width
The default correction width has a minimum value of "0" and a maximum value of "85".
If the geomagnetic value exceeds the normal value range, increase the maximum value to about "95".
Steam VR
You can install and uninstall SteamVR drivers. Not normally used.
